Special Guests and Artisans will Illuminate India’s Independence Day Celebrations

The upcoming Independence Day celebrations at New Delhi’s Red Fort will be graced by approximately 1800 distinguished guests hailing from diverse backgrounds across the nation. These special invitees have been extended an invitation by the Government of India to partake in the National Flag hoisting ceremony led by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, and to hear his address to the nation on this significant occasion.

In a parallel celebration, the Ministry of MSME has also extended invitations to 50 Khadi artisans and 62 artisans from 18 different trades (Vishwakarma), along with their spouses, from various corners of the country. They will participate in the Independence Day festivities in New Delhi, including the Flag hoisting ceremony at the Red Fort on August 15, 2023, led by the Prime Minister. Following this, they will join in further celebrations at the residence of the Union Minister of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, Shri Narayan Rane.
