Lok Sabha Elections 2024: As the nation gears up for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Phase 1 is set to kick off with significant anticipation. Scheduled for April 19, this initial phase marks the commencement of the electoral process, encompassing a total of 102 constituencies spread across various states and union territories.
Phase 1 Voting in Lok Sabha 2024: Date and Time
According to the Election Commission of India’s schedule, the Lok Sabha 2024 elections will unfold over seven phases. Phase 1, slated for April 19 (Friday), will witness polling from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additionally, an hour of buffer time is allocated to accommodate voters already in line, ensuring a smooth and inclusive voting process.
Phase 1 Voting in Lok Sabha 2024: List of States and Constituencies
During Phase 1, about 10 states and union territories will experience full coverage, while 11 others will witness partial coverage. The 102 constituencies involved in this phase represent a diverse range of regions and demographics, setting the stage for a crucial electoral showdown.
Concurrently, state legislative assembly elections are scheduled to take place in Arunachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, and Sikkim during the same period, adding further significance to this electoral extravaganza.
