On the 8th of February, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhu Sukhvinder met Union Minister Nitin Gadkari in Delhi and discussed the ongoing National Highway projects in Himachal Pradesh.
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhu Sukhvinder met Union Minister Nitin Gadkari in Delhi to discuss the ongoing National Highway projects in the state. The two leaders discussed the progress and challenges faced in the implementation of the projects and ways to resolve them.
The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of National Highways in connecting remote and rural areas of Himachal Pradesh to the rest of the country and improving the transportation network in the state. He also mentioned the need for better connectivity to promote tourism, which is a major source of revenue for the state.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari assured the Chief Minister of the central government’s full support in the development of National Highways in Himachal Pradesh. He said that the government is committed to improving the transportation network in the state and connecting remote areas with better road infrastructure.
The two leaders also discussed the need for better maintenance of National Highways to ensure smooth transportation for the people and to reduce the number of road accidents.
The meeting was productive and both leaders expressed satisfaction with the progress of National Highway projects in Himachal Pradesh. The central government and the state government will continue to work together to ensure the smooth implementation of these projects and to improve the transportation network in the state.
