Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film, ‘Thalapathy 68,’ directed by the acclaimed Venkat Prabhu, has been creating waves as one of the most awaited releases. The sci-fi action entertainer was expected to unveil its title and first-look posters on New Year’s, generating immense excitement among fans.
However, recent developments surrounding the demise of veteran actor-politician Captain Vijayakanth have reportedly led to the postponement of the anticipated update. Thalapathy Vijay paid heartfelt last respects to Vijayakanth, suggesting a delay out of respect for the departed actor.
While there’s no official confirmation, speculations suggest that the movie team might announce the title and reveal the posters during Pongal 2024. The ensemble cast includes Vijay, Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Mohan, Jayaram, Ajmal, and more.
Produced by AGS Entertainment, ‘Thalapathy 68’ boasts music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, with cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni and editing by Venkat Raajen.
