The makers of KGF have announced a new movie: Dhoomam.

Dhoomam’s first poster was released by Hombale Films on their Twitter handle after the raging success of KGF Chapter 2 and their new masterpiece Kanatra.

The production house which can do nothing wrong at the moment and has the midas touch has announced its new movie Dhoomam with the stalwart Fahadh Faasil in the lead.

After the raging success of KGF Chapter 2 and with their new masterpiece Kanatra, Hombale Films took to their Twitter handle to release the first poster of the movie Dhoomam.

Pawan Kumar, who has previously directed Lucia and U-Turn, will be directing and scripting Dhoomam, a thriller. The female lead in Dhoomam is national award winner Aparna Balamurali.

Shooting for the movie is set to begin on October 9 and the movie will be released in 4 languages: Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu.

After the grand announcement of Tyson earlier, Dhoomam marks the second release from the production house in the Malayalam Film Industry.

According to sources, the magnitude and scope of the movie Dhoomam are going to be huge. The movie will include a list of top actors and technicians, the details of which have yet to be revealed. “Dhoomam is based on a new concept,” said producer Vijay Kiragandur on the release of the first look. The amalgamation of the biggest actors together can certainly create and weave magic together.

Preetha Jayaraman, a celebrated cinematographer, will do the cinematography and Poornachandra Tejaswi will do the music. The film Dhoomam will be released in the summer of 2023.

Since the successful run of KGF Chapter 2 worldwide, the production house has been on a roll. It is moving forward quickly. They are ready to mark their presence across the film industry and Indian cinema with Salaar under their belt and the likes of Rocking Star Yash, Sudha Kongura, Prashanth Neel, Rakshit Shetty, Rishab Shetty, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Fahadh Faasil at their side.

This could be the start of a big bang in the reckoning with the best of the best from the South Indian Film Industry coming together.
