On the 15th of February President Droupadi Murmu met with tribal students from schools in Nagaland, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
President Murmu interacted with the students and listened to their experiences and aspirations. She encouraged them to work hard and pursue their dreams, assuring them that the government is committed to providing equal opportunities for all.
The President also highlighted the importance of education and urged the students to focus on their studies while also embracing their cultural roots. She emphasized the need to preserve and promote tribal traditions and customs, which are an integral part of India’s rich heritage.
The meeting is a significant step towards empowering tribal students and bridging the gap between the mainstream and tribal communities. By engaging with students from diverse backgrounds, the President has demonstrated her commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity in the country.
