The President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu will visit Uttar Pradesh from February 12 to 13, 2023. This visit is expected to be a significant event for the state as it showcases the government’s efforts to attract investment and promote education and cultural heritage.
The President will start her visit by gracing the Valedictory Session of the UP Global Investors Summit-2023 in Lucknow on February 12. The summit, which is being organized by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, aims to showcase the state’s investment potential and attract investment from across the globe. The President’s presence at the event will be a major boost for the summit and will give it a significant platform to attract investment and promote economic growth in the state.
Later that evening, the President will attend a civic reception to be hosted in her honor by the Government of Uttar Pradesh at Lok Bhavan, Lucknow. The reception is expected to be attended by prominent political leaders, business leaders, and members of the public from across the state.
On February 13, the President will grace the 10th convocation of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow. The university is a leading educational institution in the state and is known for its high-quality education and research. The President’s presence at the convocation will be an inspiration for the students and will highlight the importance of education in promoting national development.
Before returning to Delhi, the President will visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi, which is considered one of the most sacred Hindu temples in India. She will also attend the Ganga Aarti, a Hindu ritual performed in honor of the Ganges River. This visit to the temple and the aarti will highlight the rich cultural heritage of Uttar Pradesh and will provide the President with an opportunity to interact with the local community.
