Bollywood actress Shamita Shetty is going to return to the big screen once again with the film ‘The Tenant’ after a long break. Today the powerful trailer of his upcoming film “The Tenant” has been released, which is getting a very good response on social media. The film stars Shamita Shetty along with established actors like Swanand Kirkire, Sheeba Chadha, and Atul Srivastava. Shamita is playing the role of a modern independent woman in the film, but she falls into a friendship with a teenager and the story starts to paint in a different color.
The trailer of the film shows how the malevolent society hates women’s independence and self-reliance. In the trailer, Shamita Shetty comes to live in a middle-class society where people notice everything from her clothes to walking and talking in various ways. It is also shown in the trailer how the teenage kids of that society start seeing their crush in the lonely girl and everyone talks to her with their own meanness. It is also shown how people target a single modern independent woman.
The film ‘The Tenant’ is releasing in theaters on 10th February. Along with Bollywood, Shamita Shetty has also worked on the small screen in shows like ‘Bigg Boss’, ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ and ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’.
