1. The United Kingdom and Israel have signed a landmark agreement to deepen their tech trade and security ties, aimed at enhancing their respective innovation economies.

4. The hub has already helped to facilitate over 175 tech partnerships between the two countries, generating over £85 million in deals.
5. The new agreement is expected to increase bilateral trade and investment and create new jobs and growth opportunities for both countries.
6. It is also aimed at promoting closer cooperation on defense and security issues, including counterterrorism, intelligence sharing, and joint military exercises.
7. The agreement has been hailed as a major step forward in the UK’s efforts to strengthen its global partnerships and boost its post-Brexit economy through increased international trade and collaboration.
The United Kingdom and Israel are set to sign a landmark agreement aimed at strengthening their bilateral ties in the areas of technology, trade, and security. The deal, which comes after months of negotiations, marks a significant step forward in the two countries longstanding partnership.
The agreement, which is expected to be signed by UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his Israeli counterpart, Naftali Bennett, during Bennett’s upcoming visit to London, will focus on increasing cooperation between the two nations’ tech industries. It will also pave the way for new trade opportunities and bolster joint efforts to tackle shared security challenges.
Under the terms of the agreement, the UK and Israel will commit to working together to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in their respective tech sectors. This will include collaborating on research and development initiatives, as well as providing support for startups and small businesses.
The two countries will also seek to deepen their trade relationship, with a particular emphasis on boosting exports and investment. The deal will aim to remove barriers to trade and encourage greater cooperation between British and Israeli companies.
In addition, the agreement will see the UK and Israel working together to tackle common security threats, including cyber attacks, terrorism, and regional instability. This will involve sharing intelligence and expertise, as well as conducting joint military exercises and training.
Commenting on the agreement, Prime Minister Johnson said: “The UK and Israel are natural partners, with a shared commitment to innovation, entrepreneurship, and democracy. This landmark agreement will deepen our already strong ties, creating new opportunities for collaboration and trade, and helping to keep our citizens safe.”
For his part, Prime Minister Bennett said: “Israel and the UK are two great democracies, and we share a deep friendship and many common interests. I am delighted to be visiting London to sign this important agreement, which will strengthen our partnership and pave the way for a bright future of cooperation and prosperity.”
