The UK government has revealed a new package aimed at enhancing educational opportunities for the most disadvantaged pupils across the country. The package includes funding for tutoring programs, teacher training, and support for mental health and well-being.
One of the key elements of the package is funding for tutoring programs, which will be provided to disadvantaged pupils in schools across the country. The government has committed to the program, which will provide one-to-one and small-group tutoring to help pupils catch up on missed learning.
In addition to tutoring programs, the government has pledged £200 million for teacher training and professional development. The funding will be used to provide additional training for teachers, enabling them to provide the best possible support to their pupils.

This package of support is designed to help level up educational opportunities for the most disadvantaged pupils, ensuring that they get the support they need to thrive and achieve their full potential.”
The new initiative is expected to benefit thousands of pupils across the country and is part of the government’s broader efforts to level up opportunities for all. By investing in education and providing additional support for disadvantaged pupils, the government hopes to create a more equitable society where everyone has the chance to succeed.
