Establishing Responsible and Trustworthy AI
A significant portion of the funding, £31 million, will be allocated to the University of Southampton for groundbreaking research in responsible and trustworthy AI. The project aims to bring together the expertise of academia, business, and the wider public to explore the development and utilization of responsible AI while considering its broader impact on society.

By leveraging geospatial technology, organizations can gain valuable insights, enhance efficiency, and drive innovation in areas such as urban planning, environmental management, transportation systems, and more. This integration of geospatial technology into various sectors will contribute to economic growth and position the UK as a leader in utilizing location-based data.
