The government of Uttar Pradesh in India has been taking steps to protect, promote, and develop the state’s exceptional talents. As part of its efforts, it has distributed toolkits to 83,000 artisans under the One District One Product (ODOP) scheme. The ODOP E-commerce portal has also proven to be a successful platform, with over 20,000 products sold to date. Additionally, the government has distributed loans worth ₹16,000 crores to 1.9 lakh artisans, craftsmen, and small entrepreneurs.
