In a significant move aimed at strengthening law and order and enhancing women’s safety, the state has granted administrative and financial approval for the construction of residential and non-residential buildings. These buildings will house the ‘Veerangana Udadevi Mahila Police Battalion’ and are set to be established in Lucknow district.
The approved budget for this crucial project amounts to ₹39,156.10 lakh, reflecting the government’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of women in Uttar Pradesh. The construction of dedicated facilities for the Mahila Police Battalion underscores the state’s dedication to addressing current challenges and bolstering law enforcement efforts.
