By ensuring that a vast number of children are in school, Uttar Pradesh is taking a crucial step towards a brighter and more prosperous future.
Supporting Students’ Educational Needs
Recognizing that access to education goes beyond enrollment, the ‘School Chalo Abhiyan’ takes a comprehensive approach. It extends financial support to students for essential educational materials, making the learning journey smoother and more accessible. Under this initiative, ₹1,200 per student is transferred directly to the bank account of their guardian.
Aiding the Purchase of Essential Supplies
The financial support provided through this initiative is intended to assist in the purchase of various essential school supplies. These include textbooks, uniforms, shoes and socks, school bags, and stationery. By alleviating the financial burden associated with acquiring these materials, the initiative ensures that students can fully engage in their educational journey.
