In a heartfelt gesture, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to Arun Singh, the National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Member of Parliament (MP) in the Rajya Sabha, on the occasion of his birthday.
Expressing his sentiments, CM Pushkar Singh remarked, “I pray to Lord Badri Vishal for your long, healthy, and happy life,” encapsulating the spirit of goodwill and camaraderie shared within the political fraternity.
Arun Singh, an esteemed Indian politician and Chartered Accountant, has been a stalwart figure within the BJP, serving as the National General Secretary and Head Quarter Incharge since June 17, 2015. His dynamic leadership and organizational acumen have earned him pivotal roles within the party, including in-charge positions for states like Rajasthan and Karnataka.
Hailing from Uttar Pradesh, Arun Singh has represented the state in the Rajya Sabha since December 5, 2019. His re-election for a consecutive second term in the upper house of the country on November 2, 2020, underscores his unwavering commitment to public service and governance.
“Throughout his tenure, Arun Singh has been actively involved in parliamentary proceedings, leveraging his expertise as a Chartered Accountant to contribute to discussions on crucial economic and financial matters. His interventions on topics ranging from the Union Budget to legislative amendments have showcased his astute understanding and articulation of complex issues”.
Arun Singh’s role extends beyond legislative functions, as he also serves as a member of important parliamentary committees such as the Standing Committee on Chemical Fertilizers and the Standing Committee on Water Resources. His multifaceted contributions reflect his dedication to addressing key challenges facing the nation across various domains.
