Varanasi, often referred to as the “City of Lights” due to its spiritual significance and the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti on its ghats, is set to become the epicenter of discussions aimed at building a more sustainable financial future for the world. 13 to 14 September, Delegates from #G20India are converging on this historic city to participate in the 4th Sustainable Finance Working Group Meeting.
The meeting is expected to shed light on crucial focus areas within the Working Group’s purview, with a clear objective of fostering worldwide economic growth and stability while simultaneously propelling the transition towards an environmentally conscious society.
Sustainable finance has emerged as a critical component in addressing global challenges, including climate change, biodiversity loss, and social inequality. The Working Group’s deliberations in Varanasi will play a pivotal role in shaping strategies and policies that promote sustainable economic development on a global scale.
