Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024: PM Modi Inaugurates 10th Edition with Global Leaders

Gujarat: The 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024 commenced with the inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar. Themed ‘Gateway to the Future,’ the summit attracted participation from 34 partner countries and 16 partner organizations. Distinguished industry captains, including Lakshmi Mittal, Mukesh Ambani, and global ministers, addressed the gathering, expressing appreciation for PM Modi’s visionary leadership.

The summit served as a platform for the Ministry of Development of the North-Eastern Region to showcase investment opportunities in the North-Eastern regions. Multiple industry leaders shared insights into their business plans and lauded the Prime Minister’s vision for India’s economic growth.

“International dignitaries, including H.R.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates & Ruler of Abu Dhabi, and Filipe Nyusi, President of Mozambique, addressed the summit. PM Modi highlighted the deepening ties between India and the UAE, with a focus on partnerships in renewable energy, healthcare, and port infrastructure”.

“Reflecting on the global impact of India’s growth, PM Modi stated, “India is moving forward as a ‘Vishwa Mitra’ in a fast-changing world.” He emphasized India’s role as a pillar of stability, a trustworthy partner, and a force for global welfare. The Prime Minister outlined India’s priorities, including sustainable industries, futuristic technologies, green energy, and semiconductors”.

PM Modi showcased India’s achievements, highlighting its transformation into the world’s fifth-largest economy and expressing confidence in reaching the top three in the coming years. He emphasized the government’s structural reforms, facilitating economic resilience, and reiterated India’s commitment to inclusivity and equality.

The Prime Minister urged investors to become part of India’s investment journey, emphasizing opportunities in diverse sectors. He cited the country’s advancements in logistics, transportation, infrastructure, and digital inclusion. PM Modi concluded by inviting investors to explore possibilities in every corner of India, making the Vibrant Gujarat Summit a gateway to shaping a new generation of creators and consumers.

The event was attended by global leaders, including H.R.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Filipe Nyusi, José Ramos-Horta, Petr Fiala, and Tran Luu Quang, among others, showcasing the significance of the summit in fostering international collaborations.
