In a significant event, the Vice-President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, is gearing up for his maiden visit to the culturally rich state of Bihar on September 29, 2023. This visit is expected to mark a noteworthy moment in his term of office.
“Accompanying him on this excursion is Dr. Sudesh Dhankhar, adding a touch of elegance to the visit. The primary highlight of their visit is a trip to Nalanda University, an iconic center of learning and culture with a storied history dating back to ancient times”.
At Nalanda University, Vice-President Dhankhar is scheduled to engage in an interactive session with the students and esteemed faculty members. This is not only a testament to his commitment to education but also an opportunity to connect with the academic community and gain insights into the educational landscape of Bihar.
“Furthermore, the vice president’s day-long itinerary includes a visit to Gaya, a city of immense religious and cultural significance in the state. Gaya holds a special place in the hearts of millions due to its association with various religious practices and rituals”.
Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar’s visit to Bihar is expected to strengthen ties between the central leadership and the state, while also promoting educational initiatives and cultural exchange.
