Filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri recently took to Twitter to address the question of a potential clash between his upcoming film, “The Vaccine War,” and Shah Rukh Khan’s action-packed film, “Jawaan.” Agnihotri made it clear that he does not believe in the concept of box office clashes and stated that Shah Rukh Khan’s film is bound to be an “all-time blockbuster.”
Responding to a Twitter user who challenged him to clash his film with “Jawaan” if he had the guts, Agnihotri expressed that he and his team are not part of the “Bollywood game” and do not adhere to the concept of clashes that often dominate discussions in the industry. He confidently acknowledged that Shah Rukh Khan’s film would undoubtedly achieve great success at the box office.
Agnihotri’s film, “The Vaccine War,” is slated to release on September 28, while “Jawaan” is set to hit theaters on September 7.
The filmmaker urged audiences to not only watch the star-studded blockbusters but also consider his smaller film that showcases India’s greatest victory in a war that many might be unfamiliar with.
Agnihotri’s tweet, accompanied by the hashtag #TheVaccineWar, suggests that his film offers a unique and important perspective that deserves attention alongside the high-profile releases.
As the release dates draw closer, fans and movie enthusiasts will eagerly await the outcome of this box-office clash. Regardless of the competition, Agnihotri remains focused on creating impactful cinema that sheds light on significant historical events, reminding audiences of India’s remarkable achievements.
