In recent news, Instagram influencer Vipasha Malhotra has captured significant attention on social media with her remarkable rendition of the song ‘Chaleya’ from the Bollywood movie ‘Jawan,’ originally featuring superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
What sets her musical interpretation apart is that she personally crafted the song’s lyrics in English. In a viral video, Vipasha showcases her impressive singing talent, offering a unique take on this Bollywood classic. Her soulful and creative rendition has left netizens captivated.
Adding an extra layer of excitement to the story is the fact that none other than Shah Rukh Khan himself noticed Vipasha’s cover video and openly expressed his appreciation. SRK shared the post on X (formerly Twitter) and included a message that read, “Awesome cover of #Chaleya. Liked it very much. Thank you for this.”
It’s worth mentioning that the original song ‘Chaleya’ was composed by Anirudh Ravichander and penned by Kumaar, with Arijit Singh and Shilpa Rao lending their voices to the melodious track.
The movie ‘Jawan’ had a worldwide theatrical release on September 7. The film features Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupati in lead roles, with Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt also making appearances. Impressively, even after 29 days of its release, ‘Jawan’ continues to run successfully in theaters.
