Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura: Scattered to fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall with isolated thunderstorms and lightning are expected from March 19 to 24.
Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam: Prepare for scattered to fairly widespread light/moderate rainfall with isolated thunderstorms & lightning from March 19 to 21. There’s a possibility of hailstorms on March 19 and isolated heavy rainfall on March 20.
Marathwada: Isolated light rainfall with thunderstorms & lightning from March 19 to 20, with a chance of hailstorms on March 19.
Western Himalayan Region: Isolated/scattered light rainfall/snowfall over Himachal Pradesh & Uttarakhand on March 19 due to a feeble Western Disturbance. Another Western Disturbance may affect the region from March 20, leading to isolated/scattered light rainfall/snowfall over Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad from March 20-24.
Temperature Forecast: Maximum temperatures are expected to be above normal by 2-3°C over many parts of the country, except for some regions where they are near normal. Hot and humid weather is likely over the coastal districts of Saurashtra & Kutch, Kerala & Mahe, Rayalaseema, and Tamil Nadu & Puducherry.
