This, coupled with a trough of low in easterlies stretching from North Interior Karnataka to the aforementioned cyclonic circulation in lower tropospheric levels, signifies a crucial meteorological development influencing various parts of the country. The resultant effects are expected to manifest in specific regions, promising a diverse range of weather phenomena in the upcoming days.

South Peninsular India: Rainfall Predictions

Under the influence of strong lower-level easterly winds originating from the Bay of Bengal due to the aforementioned weather systems, a pattern of light to moderate fairly widespread to widespread rainfall is anticipated over the expanse of south Peninsular India within the next 7 days. Particularly, isolated heavy rainfall is forecasted over Kerala-Mahe during the 5th to 8th of the month, and over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal during the 5th to 7th. Furthermore, Coastal & South Interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, and Coastal Andhra Pradesh can expect isolated heavy rainfall from the 5th to 6th of November, with the possibility of isolated very heavy rainfall over Kerala & Mahe on the 5th.

Andaman & Nicobar Islands: Rainfall Forecast

In the next 7 days, a prediction of light to moderate rainfall at some places is made for the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The expected weather conditions point towards sporadic showers in this region during the forecast period.

Western Himalayan Region: Western Disturbance Impact

Anticipations indicate the arrival of a fresh Western Disturbance that is likely to affect the Western Himalayan Region commencing from the night of 7th November 2023. Its influence is expected to bring about light rainfall or snowfall at isolated places in Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad and Himachal Pradesh during the 7th to 9th, followed by Uttarakhand on the 9th of November.
