  • Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura: Scattered rainfall is on the cards from April 20th to 24th, with isolated heavy rainfall anticipated in specific areas.

Trough/Wind Discontinuity Influence: A trough from Marathwada to south Tamil Nadu marks its presence in lower tropospheric levels. Brace for:

  • Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, and Konkan & Goa: Isolated light rainfall accompanied by isolated thunderstorms and lightning from April 20th to 22nd.
  • Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh: Expect scattered rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds from April 20th to 23rd.

Maximum Temperature Observations: Yesterday, maximum temperatures soared across various regions, notably reaching 42-44°C in parts of Vidarbha, Marathwada, and more. Heat Wave conditions prevail in isolated pockets, with temperatures above normal by 2-4°C in many areas.
