Weather: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a detailed forecast and warnings for various weather systems across the country:

Cyclonic Circulations:

  • Northeast Assam and northeast Bangladesh will experience fairly widespread to widespread rainfall/snowfall from April 22 to 28.
  • The Western Himalayan Region will likely see scattered to widespread rainfall/snowfall from April 22 to 28 due to a Western Disturbance.

Maximum Temperature Observation:

  • Temperatures in some parts of Rayalaseema and Gangetic West Bengal are in the range of 42-44°C.
  • Heat wave conditions are expected in isolated pockets over Gangetic West Bengal, Interior Karnataka, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, and other regions.

Heat Wave and Hot Weather Warning:

  • Heat wave to severe heat wave conditions are likely in isolated pockets over Gangetic West Bengal, Interior Karnataka, Odisha, and other areas.
  • Hot and humid weather is expected over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and other regions.
