  • Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim may experience isolated to scattered light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning on March 26th, along with similar conditions over Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, and Jharkhand on March 25th.
  • A trough/wind discontinuity over North Kerala to Vidarbha may lead to isolated to scattered light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning over Kerala, Lakshadweep, and coastal Karnataka.
  • Isolated light rainfall/snowfall is expected over the Western Himalayan Region on March 24th, with similar conditions over Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning.
  • A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect Northwest India from the night of March 26th, resulting in isolated to scattered light rainfall/snowfall with thunderstorms and lightning over Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand until March 29th.
  • Heat wave conditions are forecasted in isolated pockets over Saurashtra & Kutch during March 24th – 27th.

Additionally, maximum temperatures are expected to be below normal over certain regions such as Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, while a gradual rise in maximum temperatures is anticipated over East India, Central India, and Northwest India & East India during the forecast period.
