General Bipin Rawat, along with his wife Madhulika Rawat, tragically died in an Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopter crash near Coonoor, Tamil Nadu, on December 8, 20211. The accident claimed the lives of 13 people. Following the incident, tributes poured in from across the nation, with political leaders, military officers, and citizens alike mourning the loss.
The final rites for General Rawat and his wife were conducted with full military honors in Delhi. Their daughters, Kritika and Tarini, performed the cremation ceremonies1. The nation continues to remember General Rawat’s dedication and service to the country.
