On the 26th of February Lucknow, the capital city of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh program organized by the Police Recruitment and Promotion Board to distribute appointment letters to 9,055 newly-selected police officers. The program was attended by several dignitaries, including the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, who personally handed over appointment letters to some of the officers.
