On the 1st of January Yogi pays humble tribute to the brave warrior, ‘Hindua Surya’ Maharana Pratap, the unique symbol of sacrifice and sacrifice, who sacrificed his everything for the protection of the motherland, on his death anniversary.
He said, “The whole life of indomitable courage, and self-respecting Maharana Pratap is exemplary for all of us”.
Maharana Pratap was a legendary king of Mewar, a region in present-day India, during the 16th century. He was born in 1540 and ruled Mewar from 1572 until his death in 1597. Despite facing numerous obstacles and adversities, Maharana Pratap is remembered as one of India’s greatest warriors and a symbol of resistance against the Mughal Empire.
Maharana Pratap’s reign was marked by conflict with the Mughals, who were seeking to expand their empire into Mewar. Despite being vastly outnumbered, Maharana Pratap refused to surrender his kingdom to the Mughals and instead chose to fight against them. He led his army into battle against the Mughal forces, which were led by the emperor Akbar, and won several significant victories.
Maharana Pratap’s most famous battle was the Battle of Haldighati, which took place in 1576. Despite being outnumbered, Maharana Pratap’s army put up fierce resistance against the Mughal forces, and the battle ended in a stalemate. Although Maharana Pratap did not emerge victorious, the battle was significant because it demonstrated his bravery and determination to protect his kingdom and his people.
Maharana Pratap was also a visionary leader who recognized the importance of education and cultural preservation. He established several schools and cultural centers, which helped to preserve Mewar’s rich cultural heritage and traditions. He was also known for his fairness and compassion and was greatly loved and respected by his people.
He is remembered as a symbol of resistance against oppression and a defender of freedom and independence. His unwavering determination and bravery in the face of overwhelming odds have made him one of India’s most revered historical figures.
