Akshay Kumar’s latest film, ‘OMG 2’, co-starring Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi, has recently hit the screens. The audience response to this Khiladi Kumar starrer has been overwhelmingly positive. As the film completes its first week since release, it continues to make impressive strides at the box office. While there was a slight dip in earnings on the previous day, the 7th day saw ‘OMG 2’ collecting a decent sum.
Crossing the 80 Crore Mark
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh reports that on the 7th day, ‘OMG 2’ earned 5.58 crores, pushing the film’s total gross to 85.05 crores. The film began with a strong start, collecting Rs 10.26 crore on its opening day, followed by Rs 15.30 crore on Saturday, Rs 17.55 crore on Sunday, Rs 12.06 crore on Monday, & Rs 17.10 crore on Tuesday. Despite competing with ‘Gadar 2’, Akshay Kumar’s film has managed to hold its own and perform exceptionally well.

Interestingly, Akshay Kumar’s ‘OMG 2’ and Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2’ were released on the same day. While ‘OMG 2’ might be trailing behind ‘Gadar 2’, it has still garnered significant appreciation from the audience. On the other hand, ‘Gadar 2’ has enjoyed immense success, establishing itself as a super hit.
