Anupam Kher, a prominent figure in Bollywood, is known for his devotion to Shri Ram. Beyond his cinematic endeavors, Kher openly expresses his views on politics and religious matters. In a recent video shared on social media, Anupam Kher revealed his invitation to participate in the consecration ceremony, known as ‘Prāṇa Pratiṣṭhā,’ at the Shri Ram Temple.

In the video, Anupam Kher expressed his gratitude and mentioned, “On January 22, in Ayodhya, I will represent my ancestors, especially my grandfather, Pandit Amarnath Ji.” He donned a Ram-Nam Gammcha and applied a tilak on his forehead, emphasizing the spiritual significance of the event. Kher extended his wishes to all Kashmiri Hindu brethren who share a spiritual connection with him.
Remembering Kashmiri Pandits
Anupam Kher took a moment in his video to remember the Kashmiri Pandits, stating, “The return of Shri Ram Lala to Ayodhya gives the belief that anyone who has lost their own Ayodhya somewhere will reunite one day.” He invoked the blessings of Shri Ram for the historic event and expressed joy at the opportunity to participate and share happiness with everyone.
Bollywood’s Presence at the Inauguration
As the inauguration approaches, Bollywood stars, including Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Kangana Ranaut, have also received invitations to join the Shri Ram Temple consecration ceremony on January 22, 2024.
