Arunachal CM Pema Khandu Announces 4% Increase in Dearness Allowance and Relief

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister, Pema Khandu, has brought a wave of happiness among the state’s employees and pensioners by announcing a 4% increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR), effective from January 1, 2024. This pre-Holi gift is set to benefit a total of 68,818 State Government employees and 33,200 pensioners.

Expressing his delight in offering this uplift, Chief Minister Khandu remarked, “This pre-Holi gift will benefit our dedicated workforce and retirees, providing them with increased financial security.”

Underlining the government’s commitment to the welfare of its citizens, Chief Minister Khandu attributed the decision to the guidance of Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He stated, “Our double-engine sarkar, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is dedicated to ensuring the well-being of all citizens, particularly those tirelessly delivering essential government services.”

Highlighting the importance of collective effort in driving Arunachal Pradesh’s development agenda forward, Chief Minister Khandu urged everyone to continue working diligently towards achieving all-round and inclusive growth for the state.
