Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu took to social media to express heartfelt sentiments on the occasion of his late father’s, Late Shri Dorjee Khandu, 69th birth anniversary. Fondly reminiscing about his beloved father, who served as the former Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Pema Khandu conveyed a poignant message of remembrance and gratitude.
In his heartfelt tribute, CM Pema Khandu expressed, “Papa, I miss you! Not a day goes by without seeking the blessings of my dearest father, Late Shri Dorjee Khandu Ji.” He fondly recalled the captivating presence and enduring legacy of his father, whose leadership left an indelible mark on the state.
As he commemorated his father’s birth anniversary, CM Pema Khandu reflected on the invaluable life lessons imparted by Late Shri Dorjee Khandu. The teachings and wisdom passed down by his father continue to guide and inspire him in his personal and political journey.
Highlighting his father’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people and his visionary approach to state development, CM Pema Khandu remarked, “His dedication to the welfare of people and vision for the development of the state continue to inspire me to serve our sisters and brothers passionately, committedly, and zealously.”
Late Shri Dorjee Khandu, born on March 19, 1955, served as Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh until his untimely demise on April 30, 2011. His tenure witnessed significant strides in the state’s progress, and his leadership was revered by the people of Arunachal Pradesh.
As Arunachal Pradesh remembers and honors the legacy of Late Shri Dorjee Khandu on his birth anniversary, CM Pema Khandu reaffirms his commitment to carrying forward his father’s vision and legacy, dedicated to the service and development of the state and its people.
