Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu marked a significant step forward in addressing Itanagar’s parking challenges by inaugurating a state-of-the-art, fully automated AI-based Smart Parking System at Trihms, Naharlagun. With a capacity to accommodate 72 vehicles across four towers, this innovative solution promises to ease the burden of parking in the bustling urban center.
Expressing his satisfaction with the new parking facility, CM Pema Khandu remarked, “Happy to have inaugurated fully automated AI-based Smart Parking System at Trihms, Naharlagun, with increased capacity to accommodate 72 vehicles in 4 towers, a much-needed solution to Itanagar’s parking woes.” He underscored the importance of leveraging technological advancements to enhance the ease of living in urban areas, emphasizing the role of such interventions in streamlining urban infrastructure and services.
Acknowledging the collaborative effort behind the project’s success, CM Pema Khandu extended his gratitude to esteemed guests, including Honorable Minister Kamlung Mosang, Honorable Minister Alo Libang, Honorable MLAs Laisam Simai and Techi Kaso Ji, Itanagar Mayor Tamme Phassang, and other dignitaries. Their presence at the inauguration ceremony signifies collective commitment towards addressing the pressing challenges faced by urban centers like Itanagar.
