The issue appears to have started on the morning of August 16, 2023. Users who try to access ChatGPT are greeted with an error message that says “AIPRM Prompt is missing.” This message indicates that ChatGPT is unable to find the prompt that it needs to generate text.
In addition to the error message, users are also reporting that any chat history that they have is not showing up. This means that they are unable to see the conversations that they have had with ChatGPT in the past.
OpenAI has not yet released a statement about the technical issues that ChatGPT is facing. However, the company has acknowledged the issue on Twitter and says that it is working to fix it.
In the meantime, users who are experiencing problems with ChatGPT can try the following:
Clear their browser cache and cookies.
Try using a different browser.
Wait a few hours and try again.
If the issue persists, users can contact OpenAI support for help.
The technical issues that ChatGPT is facing are a major inconvenience for users who rely on the service. However, it is important to note that OpenAI is a reputable company with a good track record of fixing technical issues. It is likely that ChatGPT will be back up and running soon.
In the meantime, users can try using other chatbot services, such as LaMDA or Jarvis. These services are not as advanced as ChatGPT, but they can still be helpful for a variety of tasks.
