However, the definition of news has changed over time, especially with the advent of the internet and social media. In the past, the news was mainly reported through traditional channels like television, radio, and newspapers.

But now, anyone with a smartphone or a computer can be a reporter, and news can be disseminated almost instantaneously through platforms like Twitter and Facebook and distinct news websites.
