In a significant announcement on his Twitter account, Rajnath Singh, Union Defence Minister, revealed that today, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is set to lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of 508 railway stations across India as part of the #AmritBharatStationScheme. Notably, this includes 71 stations in Uttar Pradesh, featuring prominent locations like Aishbagh and Badshahnagar stations in Lucknow.
The transformative scheme not only promises a grand facelift to these stations but also aims to enhance public convenience. Minister Singh urged citizens to actively participate in this landmark initiative, highlighting the widespread benefits it will bring to both the travel experience and overall urban development.
