Estimated reading time: 2 minutes

A group of four siblings, originating from Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh, have established themselves as civil servants in various regions of the country. All of them are IAS and IPS officers who serve the country with pride and dedication. The inspiration provided by their story extends to all individuals in their district, with a particular impact on children who hold them in high regard. Their place of origin is Lalganj, a small town located in Pratapgarh, and they obtained their education there. Yogesh Mishra became an IAS officer after cracking the UPSC exam first in 2013. Madhavi Mishra, his sister, followed in his footsteps and joined the IAS in 2015.

In her fourth attempt in 2016, Kshama Mishra, the eldest sister, successfully cleared the exam and became an IPS officer. Lokesh Mishra, who is the youngest brother, accomplished his desire to become an IAS officer.

Kshama Mishra currently holds the position of Commandant at the State Police Line in Bangalore. Yogesh Mishra serves as an IAS officer at the Ordnance Factory. Madhavi Mishra holds the position of Deputy Commissioner in the Ramgarh district of Jharkhand. Lokesh Mishra holds the position of DCC in the Koderma district of Jharkhand as well.

Kshama Mishra ranked first in her district in high school and inter exams and achieved the sixth position in the state, proving herself to be a brilliant student. After graduating from a college in Lalganj, she pursued civil service preparation. Madhavi Mishra completed her postgraduate degree in Prayagraj, after obtaining her graduation degree from the same college. In 2014, she passed the UPSC exam and became an IAS officer, joining the Jharkhand cadre.

All four siblings who completed their studies at Lalganj’s Leelawati and Ram Ajor Inter College may now be officers. Kshama Mishra of IPS secured the first position in the district for inter and high school and attained the sixth rank in the state. The siblings’ success has made them exemplary individuals for others to emulate. Father Anil Mishra holds the same opinion that the outcome is the fruit of their diligent efforts.
