In his announcement on ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter), PM Narendra Modi informed the public about his participation in the B20 Summit 2023, scheduled for August 27(i.e. today). Addressing approximately 1,500 delegates, the Prime Minister underscores the Summit’s role in fostering economic growth and cooperation among nations.

The Significance of This Year’s B20 Summit in New Delhi
Hosted by New Delhi, the B20 Summit 2023 aligns with the concurrent G20 Summit held in the same city. This synchronization reinforces the Summit’s importance as it converges leaders, thinkers, and experts to deliberate on pertinent economic issues. The theme of this year’s B20 Summit, “R.A.I.S.E,” aptly captures the essence of Responsible, Accelerated, Innovative, Sustainable, and Equitable business practices.
The member countries of B20 India 2023, including Argentina, Brazil, China, France, Germany, and the United States, are actively participating in the Summit. Notably, this year’s B20 Summit witnesses the inclusion of guest countries like Bangladesh, Netherlands, and Nigeria, highlighting the event’s global outreach.
