Chhattisgarh Assembly Elections 2023: The 2023 Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly election holds immense significance in the state’s political calendar. Scheduled to take place in two phases on the 7th and 17th of November 2023, this crucial democratic exercise aims to elect all 90 members of the state’s Legislative Assembly. The much-awaited results are anticipated to be announced on the 3rd of December 2023, signifying a crucial moment in the state’s political journey.

The election will be conducted in two phases, allowing the electorate to cast their votes across the state on the specified dates. The extensive process of electing the 90 members is structured to ensure a fair and inclusive representation of the diverse voices within Chhattisgarh.
The Incumbent Chief Minister and the Existing Government
Bhupesh Baghel currently serves as the incumbent Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh. As the head of the state’s government, Baghel’s leadership and policies have shaped the socio-political landscape during his tenure.
Tenure and Previous Elections
The scheduled conclusion of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly is set for the 3rd of January 2024. The preceding assembly elections occurred in November 2018, marking a significant political milestone. Following the elections, the Indian National Congress assumed governance, with Bhupesh Baghel assuming the role of Chief Minister.
