Uttar Pradesh, India’s most populous state, has taken a significant stride in addressing the critical issue of water scarcity. The state government’s ambitious initiative, ‘Har Ghar Jal’ (Water in Every Household), has successfully provided a clean water supply to over 11 lakh families across seven districts in the Bundelkhand region. The ‘Har Ghar Jal’ scheme, launched by the Uttar Pradesh government, aims to ensure access to clean drinking water for every household in the state.
