Chief Minister Pema Khandu of Arunachal Pradesh expressed immense pride and joy on behalf of the Adi community and the state over Olen Megu Damin’s remarkable achievement. Pema Khandu conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Damin, acknowledging her unwavering dedication and remarkable talent in the realm of performing arts. He emphasized that the prestigious accolade is a testament to her exceptional achievements and unwavering commitment to excellence.
Hailing from the Mebo Sub-Division in East Siang District, Ms. Damin is celebrated not only for her artistic prowess but also for her multifaceted contributions to society. She is renowned as a teacher, artist, curator, and choreographer, showcasing her vibrant personality and dynamic spirit.
“Additionally, Khandu highlighted Ms. Damin’s active involvement in social welfare activities, particularly her efforts for the empowerment and welfare of women within the Adi community. He expressed confidence that her dedication and exceptional work will continue to inspire countless individuals, leaving a lasting impact on society”.
