Uttarakhand: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh is set to participate in the Matri-Shakti Livelihood Mahotsav and “Didi-Bhuli Haath Lagal, Uttarakhand Haul Amrit Kaal” program, scheduled to take place in Hawalbagh, Almora.
Speaking ahead of the event, CM Pushkar Singh reiterated the importance of empowering women, referring to them as ‘mother power’ and emphasizing their pivotal role in society. He expressed the government’s unwavering dedication to ensuring the welfare and advancement of women across Uttarakhand.
The Matri-Shakti Livelihood Mahotsav aims to celebrate and promote the economic independence and entrepreneurial spirit of women. It provides a platform for women to showcase their talents, skills, and products while fostering networking opportunities and access to resources.
Additionally, the “Didi-Bhuli Haath Lagal, Uttarakhand Haul Amrit Kaal” program underscores the significance of reaching out to women in remote areas, ensuring they receive essential support and services for their well-being and empowerment.
CM Pushkar Singh’s participation highlights the government’s commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment, recognizing that investing in women’s welfare translates to broader societal progress and prosperity. By prioritizing initiatives that uplift and empower women, the government aims to create a more inclusive and equitable society for all residents of Uttarakhand.
