Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently expressed his Diwali greetings by announcing significant financial benefits for various segments of the state workforce. Emphasizing the vital roles played by state employees, aided educational and technical institutions, urban bodies, UGC employees, work-charged employees, and pensioners in the state’s development, he unveiled two major financial provisions ahead of the festive season.
Generous Benefits for State Employees and Contributors
In a gesture of recognition and appreciation, CM Yogi Adityanath declared a dearness allowance at a rate of 46% of the basic salary for various segments of the state’s workforce. This allowance is set to cover state employees, aided educational and technical institutions, urban bodies, UGC employees, work-charged employees, and pensioners, demonstrating the state’s commitment to recognizing the efforts and dedication of its contributing workforce.
Financial Aid and Recognition Ahead of Diwali
The CM’s announcement didn’t stop there. Additionally, in a bid to further extend the festive cheer, CM Yogi Adityanath declared a bonus that will be equivalent to 30 days’ emoluments, with a maximum limit of ₹7,000. This bonus is specifically aimed at non-gazetted state employees, work-charged employees, teachers, non-teaching staff, and daily wage workers.
Recognizing Contributions and Extending Wishes
The bonuses and dearness allowance serve as both a token of appreciation and an acknowledgment of the immense contribution of state employees, teachers, and pensioners in the progress and development of Uttar Pradesh. CM Yogi Adityanath’s thoughtful announcement comes as an early Diwali gift, recognizing the dedication and hard work of those who have significantly contributed to the state’s growth and development.

Through these financial benefits and the advance Diwali wishes, CM Yogi Adityanath aims to highlight the significant role that state employees and pensioners play in the progress of Uttar Pradesh.
