Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is brimming with enthusiasm as he gears up for his upcoming film, ‘OMG 2’. Anticipation among fans continues to escalate as the release date draws near. Following the impactful release of the film’s impressive trailer, Akshay has been keeping the audience on their toes by sharing a series of captivating video clips, intensifying the curiosity surrounding the movie. Just a day before its release, Akshay has treated fans to a new teaser, further fueling the excitement.
The newly unveiled teaser showcases Akshay Kumar in a police station, exuding an air of authority as he confronts the officers with a fiery ultimatum. Portraying the character of Mahadev, Akshay delivers his lines with intensity, warning, “I will set the whole city on fire if my possessions are not recovered. Last time, the heat was unbearable; it took 13 days to cool down.” This powerful dialogue teaser has struck a chord with the audience, earning praise and admiration.
Directed by Amit Rai, the film sees Akshay Kumar in the role of Lord Shiva, who descends to safeguard his devoted follower. The movie has undergone its share of challenges, with reports indicating that it underwent 27 cuts to meet censorship requirements, eventually earning an A certificate for release. Despite these hurdles, the filmmakers are poised to deliver a compelling cinematic experience.
The film also features prominent actors Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in significant roles, adding to the intrigue surrounding ‘OMG 2’. Scheduled for release on August 11th, the movie is set to share the spotlight with Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2’, promising an engaging cinematic showdown on the big screen.
