Mohammad Ashraful is one of the brightest cricketing stars in the current era. He started his cricketing career at a very early age and achieved success very quickly. Ashraful has been involved in several controversies during his career. In 2008, he was banned from international cricket for eight years after being found guilty of match-fixing. The ban was later reduced to five years. In 2013, he was arrested and charged with match-fixing, for which he was subsequently banned for life. However, in November 2017, the charges against him were dropped, and he was cleared to return to competitive cricket.
Ashraful is one of the most talented and controversial cricketers in Bangladesh. He has scored centuries in all six Test-playing nations, and is the first Bangladeshi cricketer to score a triple-century in first-class cricket.
