Pathum Nissanka is a Sri Lankan cricketer who made his One Day International (ODI) debut against South Africa in January 2018.

Nissanka was born on 18 May 1998 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

He made his List A debut for Sri Lanka Cricket Development XI against the touring South Africa A team in July 2017.

Nissanka was part of the Sri Lanka Under-19 cricket team that toured England in July and August 2017.

Pathum Nissanka is a Sri Lankan cricketer who has played in the Indian Premier League (IPL). His highlights in IPL career are:

-In his debut IPL season (2018), Nissanka played 5 matches for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), scoring 73 runs at an average of 24.33.

-In 2019, he was signed by the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and played 9 matches, scoring 163 runs at an average of 18.11, with a high score of 47.

-Nissanka was the 2nd highest scorer for SRH in the 2019 IPL season.

-He was also the joint-highest wicket-taker for SRH in the season, taking 10 wickets at an average of 24.30.

-Nissanka was named the Man of the Match for his performance in the final of the 2019 IPL season, in which SRH defeated the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 8 wickets.
