Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Meets PM Narendra Modi

The Governor of Tripura, Nallu Indrasena Reddy, engaged in a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 2, 2023, discussing various aspects of governance and state affairs.

Indrasena Reddy, an eminent Indian politician hailing from Telangana, boasts a substantial political career. He previously held significant positions within the Bharatiya Janata Party, serving as the party’s national secretary and leading the United State unit. Notably, Reddy has served as an elected Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) three times, securing his position in 1983, 1985 from Malakpet in Hyderabad, and later in 1999.

Recently, Reddy assumed the role of Tripura’s Governor, following his appointment on October 18, 2023. The formal swearing-in ceremony took place on October 26, 2023, at the Raj Bhawan, marking his official tenure as the 20th Governor of Tripura. His visit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi is seen as a step towards enhancing state-federal cooperation and addressing various matters concerning Tripura’s development and governance.
