Is SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ eligible for Oscars?


RRR was released on the 25th of March, 2022 and was directed by SS Rajamouli. Ram Charan and Jr. NTR starred in the lead roles in the film.

It’s hard to imagine a better directorial debut than SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’. The film has already broken all box office records in India, and now there’s speculation that it may be nominated for Oscars.

If ‘RRR’ does get nominated, it would be a huge honor for Rajamouli and his cast and crew. The film has already won widespread critical acclaim, and an Oscar nomination would only add to its stature.

Fans of ‘RRR’ are eagerly waiting to see if the film makes the cut for the Oscars. Here’s hoping that it does.

The movie was praised by prominent Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) directors like Scott Derrickson, Edgar Wright, and James Gunn. The producers have submitted their films into the general Oscar categories as part of their conquest campaign and are excited to make their mark on such an esteemed stage.

RRR is one of the very few movies to have garnered significant worldwide recognition, in addition to its domestic success. After the Bahubali series’ box office success, filmmaker S. S. Rajamouli has created another work of art. This would be the first time an Indian movie has represented Indian cinema in such a significant way.
