Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his prayers and wishes for the speedy recovery and good health of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who suffered injuries during a campaign event in Vijayawada.
The incident occurred while Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy was campaigning onboard a bus as part of his Memantha Siddham (translated as “We Are Ready”) Bus Yatra on Saturday. An unidentified individual threw a stone, striking the Chief Minister above his left eyebrow, narrowly missing his eye. He received two stitches to treat the wound.
The YSR Congress Party chief’s injury prompted widespread concern and condemnation, with political leaders across the spectrum expressing solidarity and well wishes for his recovery.
Prime Minister Modi’s gesture reflects the spirit of unity and compassion, transcending political divides during times of adversity. As Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy recuperates from his injury, the nation joins in wishing him a swift and complete recovery.
