Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar to Visit Kerala for Two-Day Spiritual and Academic Engagement

The Vice-President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, accompanied by Dr. (Smt.) Sudesh Dhankhar, will undertake a significant two-day visit to Kerala on July 6 and 7, 2025. The visit reflects a blend of spiritual devotion and academic interaction, marking an important engagement with both religious and educational institutions in the state.

On July 7, the Vice-President is scheduled to visit the renowned Guruvayur Temple, located in Thrissur district. Known for its spiritual sanctity and cultural significance, the temple attracts millions of devotees annually. Shri Dhankhar will offer prayers and seek blessings at the shrine, dedicated to Lord Guruvayurappan, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. This visit underscores the Vice-President’s deep reverence for India’s spiritual traditions.

Following the temple visit, Shri Dhankhar will head to Kochi for an academic interaction at the National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS). There, he will engage with students and faculty members, discussing the role of legal education in shaping the future of the nation and the importance of constitutional values. The interaction is expected to be enriching, offering insights from one of the highest constitutional authorities in the country.
